Cost - $50 per team
One participant from each team must be a resident of the host community
You may register for multiple divisions
You may play in the younger age group but not the older one
(For example, if you are 51 and your team mate is 49 you must register for the 18+ division)
Includes entry fee into the state tournament for local tournament-winning teams
Registration on the RIRPA site with a separate link for each community and playing division
$10 per team will be sent from RIRPA to each host community to offset any costs associated with hosting the local tournament.
Format (for local and state tournaments)
o Round Robin
o Open skill division
o 18+ and 50+ age groups
o Men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles
Where does the revenue go?
Grants for RI communities to go towards pickleball equipment, instructors, facilities, etc. in order to help grow the sport in the state. $10 per team to each participating community
The remaining revenue goes towards expenses for the state tournament and to RIRPA
